The Call

Peadar O Guilin

The Call Ireland has been under siege for the past twenty-five years from the Sidhe, a race of very angry magical beings. No one can come in to Ireland, no one can go out, and every teenager gets "the call" to the land of the Sidhe where they are hunted for twenty-four hours. Most of the teenagers die horrific deaths during "the call" and their mangled bodies are returned back to Ireland, and the lucky few who survive are left changed. Nessa, who contracted polio as a young child, knows that her chances of survival her call are slim, but she is determined to do everything she can to survive.
